Our organisation viz. VIJAY KRIDA MANDAL is one of the Non-Govt  organisations  registered under Societies Act under No. G.B.B.S.D. 311/91,  Public Trust Act under No.  F-14771, Income Tax Act under No. AAATV0050DE20214, with PAN No. AAATV0050D, u/s 80-G of Income Tax Act  Foreign Contribution Regulation Act under No. 083780774 & working  with the object of providing services to under-privileged.

The major activities viz. Day-Night Ambulance Service, Subsidised Computer Training Centre, Tuition Classes, Health Club (Gymnasium), General Library, Free Newspaper Library, Educational Sponsorship in Rural Areas, Organisation Of Yearly - 1. Blood Donation Camps, 2. Free Eye Testing Camps in Urban as well as Rural Areas, 3. Other Medical Camps (since last 32 years), 4. Bhajan Competition, 5. Prize Distribution to Scholars, Rallies with students for general awareness - 1. Against Drug Consumption, 2. For Preventive Measures For AIDS, AIDS Awareness Programs for Community & Youths in Rural & Urban areas, AIDS Prevention Project for Female Sex Workers viz. disha at Ghatkopar in collaboration with Mumbai Districts AIDS Control Society etc. are undertaken on behalf of the organisation.

In the changing socio-economic situation, the problems of the aged and the infirm are becoming more complex today. In India, the aged population constitutes about 6.5% of total population. A large portion of aged is living in the villages where the poverty is wide spread. The young people seeking employment outside the villages tend to leave the elderly persons unattended in the villages. The elderly persons are left in isolation and loneliness. They develop a feeling of guilt and inferiority due to dependence and dejection.

With this great apprehension towards the destitute elders on the streets, VKM has resolved to start Old Age Home with an objective to provide free food, health care and shelter to destitute elders.

The Vision of Support to the Elderly persons is “ A SMILE IN THE END”.
